a wee sweater
once a year, usually when i’m traveling for the holidays, i take up knitting for a bit. i inevitably do a few projects before reverting to sewing as my medium of choice for creative expression.
this year i was pregnant and took the opportunity to make something for my baby. enter the wee envelope sweater pattern. made from some extra beautiful yarn from a verb for keeping warm. to keep things simple I omitted the buttons.
even with a few flubs here and there i am pretty happy with how it turned out, especially since this is only my second non scarf knitting project (i made my niece maya a hat for her harry potter costume a few years back).

the best part?! jude looks amazing in it!

love,
aunt maggie
