hi, i'm maggie.

(like the rod stewart song)

i'm a millennial living in the bay area who loves dark beer, the environment, and sewing for the tiny humans in my life.

in the spirt of not letting perfect be the enemy of good, here is a quick post.

i made talia this swingset skirt, a lovely oliver + s pattern in some beautiful nani iro double gauze from stonemountain and daughter.

for the lining, which i realize isn’t visible in any of these shots, i used a lavender lawn, also from stonemountain and daughter. (just trust me it is there and is lovely.)

it’s such a lovely pattern and an easy sew. the only tricky bit is making sure the elastic doesn’t get twisted in the casing, but that is always true with elastic.

these photos were taken in the kids area of zocalo, a great coffee shop in san leandro!

love,

aunt maggie
