a dress for baby girl
another late post.
when talia was finally able to fit into 6 - 12 month size range i made her a roller skate dress (an oliver + s pattern). i bought the main fabric from some shop in san francsico when i was pregnant with her and the lining was from my stash.
one thing i love about the roller skate dress is that it can start as a dress then easily become a tunic as the child grows. talia is almost 18 months and i’m still squeezing her in to this. so without further ado here are pictures of her in this dress from the past year.
I am well aware the day will come when i won’t want her leaving the house in very short dresses, but today is not that day.
