i guess we can file this one under ‘good things come to those who wait'.
within an hour of finding out that talia was going to be a girl i went to my fabric stash and starting planning her first dress.
in the spirt of not letting perfect be the enemy of good, here is a quick post.
no project, just pictures from a recent stonemountain & daughter trip with talia.
i’m rarely old fashioned in my opinions, but for some reason i feel very strongly that talia needs to have on bloomers, shorts, or leggings under skirts and dresses.
after a decade of sewing for other people’s daughters i knew sewing for my own would be fun…but i had no idea how much fun.
for halloween this year i decided the kids would go as characters from jude’s current favorite book: strega nona.
