dinosaur drawstring backpack
kid birthday parties have entered the chat.
the most darling girl little from jude’s preschool invited us to her party, so one naptime i whipped up this drawstring backpack with a zippered front pouch. we filled it with a book, stickers, and some frozen hair clips from etsy (this girl is very into hair clips) and i’m convinced it was a pretty great gift.
the dinosaur print came from a fabric store in ashland, oregon. the lining is a purple lawn from stonemountain & daughter, which i also used for the strega nona skirt and the lining of the nani iro skirt.
i came up with this pattern myself. i’ve since made a few more versions and once i get all the kinks worked out i’ll post a full tutorial.
