bag in a bag

as previously mentioned the show portlandia really speaks to my soul. I especially loved the skit where kenneth from 30 rock forgets to bring his grocery bag.

this is a #firstworldproblem I hate, so using the last of my cotton + steel bee print (from nora and etta's bee mine mashup dresses, neela's float like a butterfly sting like a bee top, and the maya heart neela bunting) I made myself a bag in a bag grocery bag. 

for a first run at a pattern I have to say it turned out pretty well.

of course there are a few adjustments I need to make, once I work them out I'll put up a full tutorial and downloadable pattern.
