mini southport for back to (virtual) school
remember the pandemic?
back to school 2020 was strange for sure. while it didn’t have the usual pomp and circumstance, i still wanted to make it special for my nieces, especially neela who was starting kindergarten.
i decided to make maya and neela one of my favorite patterns: the mini southport dress from true bias from two yards of warp & Weft Cotton Wovens that i got from stonemountain & daughter (orderd online and picked up curbside).
the mini southport dress might be my favorite non oliver + s pattern. It’s such a cute style and I’ve used it twice in my previous back to school sewing making it for maya in 2018 and Etta in 2017.
