berkeley farmers market

as I get older I find myself becoming more and more like my parents.

growing my mom took us to the ann arbor farmers market just about every saturday morning. while i probably complained at the time this must have had a big impact on me because now i'm a thirty something living across the country but weekends just don't feel right without a trip to at least one of the local farmers markets.

one of my favorites is held on saturday mornings in downtown berkeley. 

located downtown one block west of Telegraph it's next to martin luther king jr. civic center park. it's only about a block long but that block really packs a punch! 

there is coffee, 

and produce galore! ​
