wednesday addams
for halloween a few years back maya asked for a wednesday addams costume.
with black corduroy from stonemountain & daughter and a variation on the jump rope dress from oliver + s, i was able to deliver.
i made two minor two alterations to the pattern. first i swapped out the sleeves for the 3/4 length cuffed sleeves from the library dress pattern (i just love the style of these sleeves, i did the same thing with nora and etta’s bee mine dresses back in 2016). second, i made the collar pointy instead of round.
at time i was secretly pregnant with jude and suffering through morning sickness so i don’t have any pictures of dress in progress, but the final result really speaks for its self.
