i'm an elder millennial living in the bay area who loves dark beer, the environment, and sewing for the tiny humans in my life.

2015 recap: pants, pjs, and jackets

2015 recap: pants, pjs, and jackets

following up from yesterday's post on all the tops i made this year and monday's post on all the skirts and dresses, today i'm going to review the pants, pajamas, and jackets i made in 2015.

first up pants. one new pattern i tried this year was the art museum trousers from oliver + s, which i made twice. first in a red corduroy i got from gather here for neela (more details here),

then in this golden corduroy from britex for a friend's baby (more details here).

i also made a pair of leggings from the playtime pattern from oliver + s as part of an outfit for a college friend's baby

said outfit included the only jacket I made this year: a sunday brunch jacket (which of course is an oliver + s pattern) i made from this beautiful amethyst corduroy with polka dot facings.

i also made dr. seuss pajamas out of this awesome lorax fabric from the lullaby layette pattern by oliver + s for miss neela to wear to maya's lorax themed birthday party.

finally maya's incredible violet incredible halloween costume (which was an alteration of a school bus t-shirt and playtime leggings, both oliver + s patterns),

has since become her favorite pajamas.

swing by tomorrow when i'll be finishing out the year by recapping all my gifts and accessories from 2015!

love,

aunt maggie
