lavender vodka

also known as 'how maggie reached peak hipster'.  

see i've been really into lavender lately.

so far i've been drying it,

using it in cooking, 

and even incorporating it into my sewing (more on that later).

well now I'm infusing it into things, starting with vodka.

this was super easy.

ingredients

• 1/4 of a cup fresh lavender rinsed and patted dry
• 1 1/2 cups vodka

instructions  

1. put lavender in a mason jar
2. pour in vodka
3. put on top
4. wait 2 - 3 weeks (flip jars every 5 days)
5. enjoy!

I tried three different kinds of lavender, but to be honest I can't taste the difference.
