when I first moved to California in the fall of 2013 the drought was big news, so one of my first acts of gardening was planting six lavender plants, which are notoriously drought tolerant.
so now that my invites had the names embossed and addressed it was time to turn my attention inside the envelope.
a few weeks ago i came across this giant piece of bark in the woods behind our friend's house.
I spent much of the weekend inside embossing names on our invitation envelopes. Yep embossed names on wedding invitations are now a thing, here is how I did it:
